Apple and magazine publishers at odds over subscriptions?

MediaMemo is saying Time Inc. is having trouble setting up their own subscription service for a Sports Illustrated iPad magazine app:

Last month, the publisher was set to launch a subscription version of its Sports Illustrated iPad app, where consumers would download the magazines via Apple’s iTunes, but would pay Time Inc. directly. Sprint Commits Another $1 Billion to Clearwire

Time Warner to Resell Clear Mobile WiMax in N.C.

Time Warner has said that it will begin selling mobile WiMax service in three North Carolina markets starting December 1. Road Runner Mobile will be offered in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, which are part of Sprint/Clearwire’s mobile WiMax roadmap.
